Located in Muleshoe Texas the Valley Motel is one of the cleanest and affordable motel in Muleshoe! It is located at 1515 West American Blvd on Hwy 84 and near most of the restraunts in Muleshoe. It was recently remodeled and refurbished so you can expect to be comfortable while you are staying with us and don't worry about not being able to be checked in because it's "too late" it's never too late here at the Valley Motel cause it's a 24 hour front desk. Muleshoe was founded back in 1913 when the Pecos & Northern Texas Railway built a line from Farwell Tx to Lubbock Tx. Muleshoe is know for a couple of things such as the largest standing and life size mule monument that we like to call " Ole Pete" which stands right next to our Chamber of Commerce Office. The Muleshoe National Wildlife Refuge is one of the oldest wildlife refuge in Texas which was established on October 24,1935. The Heritage Foundation which holds some of the oldest buildings and house from around here and with each house or building a different story to go along with it. The Muleshoe Roadriders Rally that was founded back in 1982 which holds a rally every year. The Tour De Muleshoe is when people from all over come to Muleshoe with their bicycles and tour Muleshoe. They can choose from a 10 mile all the way to a 100k tour usually in June. Of course our own little local news broadcast station by Gil Lamb or what we have come to call "Channel 6" news! Where Mrs.Megann Reynolds broadcast our news which usually includes birthdays, anniverseries and important local news.
